Brooklands, The Birthplace of British Motor Sport and Aviation, opened to the public in June 1907. It quickly became a focal point for motor racing, aircraft production and flying and a destination of choice for 1920s and ‘30s high society. Today those halcyon days of racing and flying are evoked at the 32-acre Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, through a year-round programme of events, activities and learning opportunities all connected with the rich, unique heritage that made it a household name.

As well as the vast collections of vintage racing cars, motorcycles, bicycles and aircraft, you can try some of the design and building techniques inside the Award-winning Brooklands Aircraft Factory and Flight Shed exhibitions or go on board Concorde. You’ll be welcomed by our knowledgeable and friendly Volunteers and be inspired by the pioneers who raced, flew and worked here and discover where many world records took place.

The website lists lots of events and opportunities to get involved or Volunteer, see: for more details
